The doors of Kingston College first opened in April, 1925 with 49 students in attendance.
Founder and first headmaster, the Right Reverend Percival Gibson, envisioned a school that would produce well-balanced men of integrity and character who would become leaders and set an example in public life and other pursuits.
KC has grown over the years and today approximately 1700 students attend on two campuses: Melbourne and North Street.
The school has produced Olympic athletes and Rhodes scholars; politicians and scientists; engineers and doctors; teachers and businessmen; artists and musicians; professors and poets; and men in many other endeavours. Bishop Gibson has passed on but his vision is still alive.
